PM's/mail
When you go into PM's/mail to send one to someone you have a dropdown that lists them in alphabetical order. Which that's nice, makes finding names easier and all. But, once you get a certain number of friends (I don't know what that exact count is as I didn't count them) it stops listing them. So right now mine makes it to first few in the 'D's'...could that be extended to continue to list all friends? Or set up so we can just type the name in? Otherwise you have to go find a post they've made or go to your friends list or if they aren't a friend go to the fans listing and search for them. It's not a terrible inconvenience..but sometimes it's like jumping hoops to send them. And did Darren say that PM's will be/are for FC members only? Oh, one more question while I'm thinking about it..also in the PM's/mail we have no way to keep track of the ones we've replied to...sometimes I reply right away and sometimes time is not permitting and I want to do it later. And maybe I'm just getting old and forgetful 
but can't seem to remember all the time if I replied to ones that require it. Would you consider putting a replied arrow or marker or a sent folder in that section?

I believe the current plan is to:
a) Have a visible indicator in your inbox displaying the read/replied status of your messages. (Currently, it shows only what has been read.)
b) Have both 'replied' and 'trash' folders
A development timeline for these features has not been set as most of the development time has currently been allotted for forum improvements, store improvements, and overall site performance improvements.
I hadn't noticed that the recipient drop down cut off after a ceratin length, maybe because I don't have many friends
. All jokes aside, we'll look into this.
I believe PMs are for fan club members only, but I am not 100% certain. I will look into having this clarified for everyone shortly. -

Pearl may have mentioned this, but can we get a search feature to find peeps on the board- I have to find peeps by either looking for posts of theirs, or going thru all the pics...and I'm too lazy for that. THANKS for the improvements so far....

AFAIK, Non FC members can still receive/reply to PM's (at least they could, as of Wednesday) and send them to people if they find one of their posts in the forum, by using the "Message X" button, but they can't have friends so no one other than staff shows up in their drop down menu and since they can't view profiles, they can't use the button there.

i like how our mail and inbox was on old Martinaville! I miss that!
You know what the best feature of all was in the PM/mail section of Martinaville? The tracking!! So you could keep track of who had and hadn't opened PM's/mail you sent and when they opened them. Sad thing is, is there is an upgrade available for that board and they removed that feature. Boo.
And this is totally off topic....and totally random stupidness on my part...but in the new forum (yes, this one!)..in the reply box..I totally play with the size of the box with the little 'lever' at the bottom, just because it's there...LOL

Yep..that's it. lol You can expand the size of the reply box if you don't like the scroll bar when it needs a longer space to reply. So silly. -
