I wasn't able to purchase tickets. I clicked on buy tickets beside the event at the Gwinnett Arena at 10 yesterday morning and the site came up where I put in how many tickets and then it brought up great tickets on the floor but when I clicked on "I want these tickets" that was it. On the lower part of my monitor it said error on page. i emailed Tracey and her response was the computer guys said it had to be on my end because they didn't see any problem on their end and said I needed the correct browser. I don't have the new microsoft 7.0 browser I'm still using a xp box with explorer for my browser. I have not had any issues buying from Amazon, Ebay., etc. and this morning I purchased tickets at the arena presale through ticketmaster with no problems what so ever. i can also go to the Martina store and buy items with no problem it seems the only problem came up when I was trying to buy tickets yesterday morning. i even tried again from this website this morning and still got the same error on page message. I hope this can be addressed in the future because it was very frustrating to be a long time fan club member and not be able to get the good seats...Very Frustrating!!!

    (Cross-posted from [url=http://martinamcbride.com/forum/mainroom/338572]http://martinamcbride.com/forum/mainroom/338572)

While the Martina presales today were a huge success for most, we understand that there are a number of people who experienced some kind of issue during the presale process. We will attempt to address what these possible issues could be, why they happened and how they can be avoided in the future.

First, it is important when reporting an issue that the feedback you provide is very detailed, listing specific things you clicked on and exact error messages, etc. The more specifics you can give us, the better we will be able to troubleshoot the exact issue and help you solve the problem.

First things first, there were a number of shows that became close to selling out within the first couple of minutes of the presale. If people were adding the tickets to their cart and not purchasing them right away (i.e. letting them sit in their cart), this could contribute to the issue some experienced when tying to secure tickets to a near sold out show.

Shows that could have had issues due to quantities are:
    Duluth, GA
    Tulsa, OK
    Kansas City, MO

For browser recommendations, we recommend the most up-to-date Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. Even if you don't use one of these browsers, please make sure that you are using the most up to date version of your software. Otherwise, you may see an error message that is coming from the browser, not from our end. We think this may have happened to some people.

When all else fails, clear your cache and empty your temporary internet files and try again. And please, please don't hesitate to call our Customer Support line which is always on standby during presales: 877-GND-CTRL.

We hope this helps clear up some of the causes of the issues and that everyone will be able to enjoy a problem-free presale the next time around.

Here is my two cents worth:
Purchasing tickets should not be filled with such anxiety and frustration and whether or not you have whatever browser. Many of us long time fans and newer fans who want to see Martina and support her music no matter what the cost of ticket prices are facing way too many stumbling blocks that are unknown. With the way the weather is in February add in the cost of a hotel stay to prevent driving in blinding snow. I have no problems purchasing from other sites and felt very let down that by piecing together and following the scarce instructions for pre-sale that I still could not purchase tickets till the afternoon. If certain requirements are needed for purchasing tickets these should be posted very clearly or sent by email to fan club members with instructions so fans are not set up for disappointment time after time. All of my posts below are my feelings and frustrations on attempting to purchase tickets.

I only had one good experience purchasing tickets this way over the years and that was quite some time ago. Always some problem or other. The tickets are not where I wanted them but I had to take them and not try to split us up so the concert is more enjoyable for us to celebrate together. So to sum it up I finally got in at work much later.

WC read my long post in the other thread this morning about concert tickets. Grrr..........it should not be this difficult to buy 4 tickets. I gave up and left for work almost crying. It was great to find out the site was not blocked at work. Good Luck and may the force be with you!

I am not happy. Each time I try to purchase tickets for Des Moines the system does not go forward after I selected tickets and goes back to searching and it is now 10:11. What is wrong with the ticket ordering function? And there were no floor seats left at 10:01 for 4 seats together.

I know, I clicked on the I want these tickets and the screen goes to this after 2 minutes.
    Please wait...close
We are preparing the system for you to search again. Do not refresh this page or hit the back button in your browser. You will lose your place in line and may not be able to access tickets.

Ditto! This is why I stayed home today to purchase tickets for 4 people. It will be my son-in-laws first Martina concert and the pre-sale is not working and it is now 10:26.

What venue did you get your tickets for? The Des Moines one is not working.

I have tried and tried and can't get it will not go past the seats I selected and I even tried using another browser. I missed 1/2 a day of work and still no tickets purchased?

When you click purchase these tickets the screen sits for two minutes and moves to the select other tickets screen message and does not go to any purchase cart.

Alrighty! I gave up and went to work without purchasing tickets. Using 1/2 a vacation day for no tickets is not a good way to start your day and the time off could be used on Mondays for the rest of the year to spend the afternoon with my 1 year old granddaughter.

I got to work and had to change my password because I forgot it when I got to work and it is now 12:15 and I was just able to purchase the 4 tickets that came up before in section 103 row M. These are the same tickets that came up at home that I could not purchase before. At work I finally got through. It should not be this difficult and frustrating to purchase tickets.

Now it is 12:20 central time. When looking at my last post on this thread it said 9:03 am. It was 10:03 Why is that? Do I need to set my time to central or all the posts at the same time but in what time zone?

I used Firefox at work (tried at home also) and was happy that this site was not blocked at work. All I wanted was 4 concert tickets to take my husband, daughter and her husband to his first M concert to see M perform Amy's and my song of Wild Angels that helped us through her year of chemo in 95 & 96 and to celebrate her start of 16 years of being in remission after the last treatment she had from having childhood cancer twice.

I had problems also. I could not get presale tickets for Tulsa, Ok. I sat here and refreshed the page constantly until 10:00 to get presale tickets. As soon as it popped up I clicked on it, and clicked on I want these tickets, and I got a message saying it was searching for my tickets, and not to leave the page or refresh or I would lose my place in line. After about 30 minutes, I minimized the page and opened up a new one, and tried again for tickets, and it was saying that there wasn't any more. I left the first page up for about 5 hours, and it never went through. I had an error at the bottom of the page also. I tried for tickets on my computer at work, and when I got home, I tried again, and it was showing tickets again, but not 2 together, but I still clicked on I want these tickets, even they weren't together, and the same thing happened at home. So I did not get tickets. I tried when the public sale started on Friday, and the only tickets that ever came up that I could get was in 300 section, and the farthest seats away from the stage. I would not buy them, so now I won't even get to go. I am very disappointed.

Someone posted this in the main room. I tried to move the post, but it's not showing up. I'm going to copy and paste the content.

"I just had a look at Wichita presale and from the discussion seems there were issues again, surprising. This time it seems to be delayed for hours and then started at a random time.

BTW, I did a test drive, it seems after you add the tickets to cart, you can no longer see the ticket details (section/row/seat), also there is no countdown timer.

If possible, I hope you could bring some words to those in charge:
    1) If there is any delay to the presale, please announce it in the Comments section of event page and set a specific new start time, instead of starting at a random moment. (Like today, those have refreshed for hours but eventually missed the starting would be really sad. Hope those in charge take such issues seriously, each of such small issue may have screwed some fans only chance in the whole tour.)
    2) Make the ticket details (section/row/seat) visible in cart and add a countdown timer. (The whole buying process would be nervous and hurried, having a timer and being able to double check the ticket details before submitting the order would be highly desired).

    Thanks again."
