appearances section suggestion
With the upcoming album release and the many appearances being scheduled for Martina,
I think it my be beneficial to have an "Appearances" section on front page, so fans can be
aware of scheduled TV and other important appearances all in one place.

GREAT idea, Steve! I forwarded it along to Grnd Cntrl, so we'll see what happens. There are a lot of "unknowns" right now to post anything just yet, I'm sure, but still something awesome to consider! Thanks!

Thanks for a non linked link that doesn't even link to the right page. Makes accessing the page really easy.
The website log in feature has serious issues. It never does show me as logged in until after I click reply or something that requires a log in. It used to be that the loop back to the log in page and made you appear to not be logged in but the Manage Account and Log Out text links in the top right would be how I could tell if I was actually logged in. Now that's not even the case, I just appear logged out all the time unless I click to reply to a post or use a logged in feature. I can't even access my user account (manage account) until after I click reply because that's the only time the text access up in the right hand corner changes to actually showing me logged in. Guess it's a good thing I'm "martinamcbride.com website savvy" or I'd be like a lot of fans and just left frustrated at the whole experience. Oh, wait, I've been frustrated for 2 years now, but NO ONE cares. And yes, I've cleared, cookies, cache, history...everything, log in just doesn't work right.
The whole point of this thread was to ask either Groundctrl or Martina's camp to have somewhere, anywhere on the site for all the upcoming appearances to be listed. But as of yet, that hasn't happened. No one wants to have to dig through forum posts or news stories to find them. You'd think if Martina's camp wanted her fans to support her they'd make this sort of stuff readily available. The page that Vanessa tried to post so far only discusses the train trip, none of the other appearances that Steve posted are on that page.
At one point I'm pretty sure Eddie made a feeble attempt to posting a few of the appearances on the Tour/Events page, but that was a long time ago.

I mean honestly, I could do without the sarcasm and serious attitude. I AM a person that has to read this you know, and I do care. A nice reply will get you the same result from me as a sarcastic one.
I've noticed the site login/logout issues too. It's super frustrating for me too. I'm actually working with a developer right now about how to get everything fixed up. The problem is, they have no issues on their end logging in or out, so they can't replicate it. We are trying to come to a solution, though. So it is being worked on. It's just tougher than we'd like it to be. I did notice that when I clear my cookies, log in works for me, but log out doesn't. So strange.
As for an appearances section, I'll run the idea by management and see how we could do this the best way. It seems to be a popular request so it's definitely something we'll discuss.

Update: The http://martinamcbride.com/elevenacrossamerica page is going to be the best place to go for appearances and updates. Team Martina is trying to integrate everything there that they can. Also, Martina's twitter feed is on there and she is updating all the time so that's gonna be your best source of info for release month! :)
