Unfortunately, with some of the customization that we were required to do for the forums, we leave ourselves susceptible to spam bots being able to create free accounts, etc. We have our development team working on putting an account verification system in place asap so that this doesn't happen anymore. Sorry for the inconvenience everybody, I know how annoying this is!!

Yes! Like Eddie said, the Captcha is now in place at the registration page! This means that we should see a significant decrease in the spam on the boards, in PMs, etc. Now only real humans can create an account :)

Captcha tests are now in place for "new users" for sending PMs, posting blogs, and posting to the forums, as well as registering for the site. This should also help to really cut down on those darn annoying spammers.
