Little Big Town - The Reason Why
I am blown away by the MASSIVE awesomeness oooozing from LBT's new record The Reason Why! This is, BY FAR, one of the best records I've bought in a VERY long time and def. their best yet!!! They are SUPERB!!! Their harmonies get more and more amazing with every new record. All I can say is this record is a def. THUMBS UP! Rock on, LBT!
FAVORITE SONG: Shut up Train & Lean Into It -- BUT I really like all of the songs. Those are just my two top faves!

They are pretty amazing, Also are playing at our State Fair next week, but I don't know if I will make it. Lady A the 1st, LBT the 2nd and Tim the 3rd. Lady A and LBT are free concerts if you can believe that. I don't think I can handle 3 days in a row. But I am going for 2 out of the 3...

I looked at my Walmart yesterday to see if they have it, but they did not, I even looked at their new music section, but then again, that section hasn't been changed for weeks. Maybe I can find it somewhere else, hopefully. :) So far the only song I have heard from the new album is 'Little White Church' which I think is totally awesome! Great job, Little Big Town!

I absolutely loved their last cd. It was one of my favorite cd's in a long time. I am very tempted to purchase the new one. I see that Target has it for 9.99 and Amazon for 7.99 as I write this.
Is it as good as the last one?

DAVE!! I think its better!! There are no filler songs..at least for me.. Karen sounds incredible - love SHUT UP TRAIN- her vocals have a smoky sound/feel to them (not my description, but Phillip's) and Kim absolutely SLAYS her lead vocals!! Jimi & Phillip sound more passionate to me -- I really am a HUGE LBT fan, so my opinion may be a little bit biased.. they are releasing this material on VINYL as well- i am very stoked for that!! If you are an LBT fan, you should LOVE this!! I find myself singing so many of these songs over and over...I had the pleasure of hanging out with them when they were recording it in March, and i was TOTALLY blown away hearing it for the first time. Their vocals just seem to mesh so well and the songs chosen for this CD really seem to resonate with me.. Buy the Cd..and if ya dislike it- I'll send ya the $ for it..thats IS how confident i am that you will LOVE it!!

In LOVE with the new album, so many great songs it's hard to pick a favorite! I really REALLY hope this album does superbly & the world gets to realize what a treasure LBT is!

I kept reading all the amazing reviews this album was getting prior to it's release and I kept thinking how can it be that much better than the first ones? IT IS!!! I can't get over how much I LOVE this album. Shut Up Train is my absolute favorite, but there's not a bad song on the entire record. I'm seeing LBT this Friday night opening for Sugarland and I could not be more excited! It's funny, cuz most people I've told about the show are all excited I'm seeing Sugarland, but I'm more excited to see LBT!!

I just want to join in on all the LBT love. I have denied myself from putting the album on my iPod to help me get up for my 8 AM classes. I can only listen it it on my computer and I can't do that in bed!

You hit the nail on the head . . . . this album is amazing! I smell a "album of the year" nod at next year's award shows! My hubby and I finally got to hear it last weekend on a road trip through LA (yes it's considered a road trip 'cuz it takes so long to get anywhere in LA!) and it's a masterpiece! I'd sure like to see them finally get some recognition from the industry and see a nice shiny trophy in their hands! They've been waiting in the wings FAR TOO LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go see them live, they are even more amazing in person! :)
