I loved this! I just read it! I am not at all surprised at Garth! He is such a great guy! It is AMAZING that he would do something like this though! What a guy!!! WOW!

My dream finally came true on 10-3-08 in Charlotte, NC and 4-30-10 in Greensboro, NC I finally met Martina!!!:)

That was nice of GArth...but I would think from back in the day, that he would rather be at a MartinaMcBride Concert.

It's SO amazing that there are still celebrities out there like Garth. I'm sure they're few and far between, but at least we know they still exist. How amazing and wonderful of him to be so selfless for that girl and her family...not doing it to be recognized or for PR, but just to show compassion for a special fan from years ago. Can't imagine how wonderful that made her feel, especially when her father couldn't have been there for her. Garth is a class act. 
There are always those people out there who have nasty things to say about Garth and I can never understand what their problem is! This man is the reason why I love country music and to know that his heart is even bigger than his talent makes me love him even more. Great story!
Thanks for posting that Dayna, sure is nice to read how caring Garth is. And he did this over years. What's not to love about that? Very touching..
