Interesting way to start the show with Carrie, Miranda, Brad and Charlie Daniels? Yes, I said I would not watch but ended up watching anyway...

My poor ears are still bleeding from Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts performances. God they were awful.
Lady A and Miranda were AWESOME.
I'm STOKED for Luke Bryan, Lady A and Miranda on their awards. AWESOME!
LeAnn Rimes looks great... blonde hair again and she looks like she's gained a little weight.
Ohhhhhh and Kenny Chesney was TOTALLY lip synching!!!

Well, since Martina wasn't nominated (I still call BS on that one), I'm happy Miranda won. I was hoping it'd be either her or Reba.

Laura, I totally agree with everything you said. Taylor Swift was awful. I was thinking, what the heck is this, lol. I really liked Toby Keith. His performance was wonderful.

Funny you mentioned that about Kenny Chesney...I said the EXACT same thing to my husband half way through his performance! Hmmmm...maybe he's sick?? I'm SO happy for Miranda...it's totally her turn to shine, and her new song will skyrocket her up the charts! It's amazing!
Of course, I'm VERY happy for Carrie winning EOTY!! She truly deserves it, and you'd agree with me if you've ever seen her in concert. She's a true ENTERTAINER in every sense of the word! You go, girl!

Is it just me or are these awards a joke. Laura bell bundy how did she even get a record deal. Taylor swift was dreadful again i dont understand why shes allowed to perform. Brooks & Dunn duo of the year was a huge joke.I am happy for Miranda though that one was so unexpected and Luke Bryan winning was also amazing. After this years awards i dont think i will be watching next years.

I didn't think she did half bad for as much dancing as she was doing! Wow...she was really huffing and puffing by the end of her song. Gotta give her an "atta girl" for even attempting to do that kind of performance and still expect to sing! At least SHE didn't lip-sync. Just sayin'...

i missed laura bell bundy's performance, but she was on broadway in legally blonde the musical and she was amazing!! i love her voice!
sugarland was definitely robbed in my opinion.
and yayyy for carrie underwood! you go girl!

WOO HOO FOR MIRANDA!!!!!! That made my night! LOVE LOVE LOVE HER! And I'll say the same thing that I said the night Martina finally won her FV award . . . . IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! I jumped up and screamed when she won both Album and FV awards and scared my cats half to death! (lol)
Revolution is an amazing album that I play over and over again. Her new video of "House That Built Me" is really awesome! My favorite song on the album. So glad she's finally getting recognized for her amazing talent & song writing. She's the real deal!

YES! YES! YES! WOO-HOO for Miranda! I was pleasantly surprised when she won album of the year again and then truly shocked that she pulled the upset over Carrie and Taylor for Female Vocalist! She truly is awesome and her performance was great too. Loved that she got the standing O.
I was actually impressed with the fact that Laura Bell Bundy didn't lip sych since she was doing all that dancing. That certainly indicates she's a true stage performer. I have not really been interested in her after seeing her video but she at least won a little of my respect for pulling that off. But I'm not sure how such a newcomer got a performance slot some of the veterans who didn't.
Didn't notice Kenny lip syching...but now I want to go back and re-watch it to see.
Lady A was awesome of course. Congrats to them on all their awards!

Carrie was great...she really is a great singer.
I loved the opening with Miranda, Carrie, Brad, Charlie & John Fogerty...very cool!
Nice to see Tim performing again, but I'm not a big fan of that song.

Being a Brooks and Dunn fan, I have to agree with this. It seems to me that Sugarland did win the award. It almost looked as though Carrie blurted out "Brooks and Dunn!" before Randy Travis had even had the envelope open. -

I also thought Taylor and Rascal Flatt's performances were not good! I was so happy Miranda Lambert won Female Vocalist of the year! It was nice to watch an awards show without Taylor Swift winning every award! Finally, some other great people were recognized instead of her!

Overall I thought it was a pretty good show. Reba is a treat to watch. I liked most of the acts, most..not all.
Have to agree TS can't sing. I have never been a big fan of RF's either, even though they do have a couple of good songs. Was happy to see Tim perform and Faith there as well. Stinks that Martina didn't even get a nod. Next year will be her time after her new album this year and her tour.
LBB was cute, I don't really have an opinion of her singing but it's better than someone else that sang. And she really did give it her all with the dancing.
B&D will tour for the last time this year, kinda funny what Kix said about feeling like Brett Farve..
Was very happy to see Miranda win, she was quite shocked by FV and she so deserves it.
