I LOVE Sandra Bullock! I thought her acceptance speech was definitely one of the best and she looked stunning. I was very happy she finally won her first Oscar.

Hey there, to my knowledge there hasn't been anyone that has been discovered to predict the future so don't count your chickens before they hatch.

I was/am so happy for Sandra she really deserved it and her acceptance speech was the best I have ever heard.

Well, she even said it herself in her speech. I love Sandy, but she's not exactly the type to win Oscars. I was happy for her, and loved her speech, but there's no way I could honestly say she was the most deserving in the category. Gabourey gave the performance of a lifetime, and I don't believe any other actress could have pulled off the role. I can't say the same for Sandra's role.

I love Sandra. She did an amazing job in The Blind Side. I was so happy when she won. I loved her acceptance speech. She's incredibly humble, and I'm glad she got the recognition she deserves.

March 23 is the release date for the DVD I believe!! So exciting.

I've read a few threads and Twitter stuff today and some people are so incredibly rude and kinda crazy lol!! It just makes me giggle that people gripe and moan about Sandy winning... no amount of that is going to change the fact that she's got that Oscar in her hands :). Another thing that amuses me...and this is with any award... but if someone wins that people don't agree with...they smash the heehaw out of the person honored with the award... I mean...shouldn't their beef be w/ who made the decision and not the actor? lol

I also don't agree with bashing the person or the people behind a film. I've been a Sandra fan for years, and just that alone is enough for me to be happy for her. Also, hearing her mention "her lover, Meryl Streep" was enough for me! Classic. I've seen many racist posts on forums about The Hurt Locker winning. It's sick when people have to take it to that level.

    http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2769604/sandra_bullock_wins_2010_razzie_awards.html?cat=40

With just hours to go before Hollywood's big night, Sandra Bullock won the 2010 Razzie Award for Worst Actress of 2009 for her stalking role in "All About Steve." It has been talked about for a while now that Sandra Bullock could be the first actress to take home a Worst Actress Razzie Award as well as a Best Actress Oscar (Academy Award) in the same year. Amazingly enough, she could do it on the same day.

And true to her word, Sandra Bullock showed up to accept the award as well. She told the assembly, "Something tells me you all didn't watch the film," she joked. "I thought no one went to see this film, but I know that there are more than 700 members here. That means that the majority of the 700 cast their vote, so that means 352 ...?"

"All About Steve," a quirky comedy about a woman obsessed with a guy named Steve, was universally panned by critics and didn't do all that well at the box office ($33.9 milliom domestic, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com). It certainly paled in comparison to the runaway hit, "The Proposal," which pulled in nearly $164 million and garnered the actress a 2010 Golden Globe nomination.

Not to be treated lightly (and with the numbers Sandra Bullock generally commands at the box office - "The Blind Side," for which she is nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress, was also released last year and has grossed $250.5 million to date - Hollywood takes the versatile leading lady very seriously), the 45-year-old actress brought along DVD copies of "All About Steve" and distributed them among the Razzie audience. She then asked them to watch the movie, rethink their decision of giving her the 2010 Worst Actress Razzie Award and, if they agreed that she wasn't all that bad, she would appear next year as well. She added, "I will give back the Razzie."

But Bullock didn't just take home the Worst Actress Award for a 2009 movie, she also took home a Golden Raspberry for Worst Screen Couple (which she shared with Bradley Cooper for their roles in "All About Steve").
Now it only remains to be seen if the universe can find some kind of balance with Sandra Bullock receiving the 2010 Oscar for Best Actress at the 82nd Academy Awards Sunday evening...

Haha, love her, glad she won! Excellent speech. Although I wouldn't count her out of winning Oscar again. There is an amount of respect that comes with winning an Oscar. Hopefully she will get more serious Oscar-worthy roles now.

It was also awesome that Kathryn Bigelow, ex wife of James Cameron became the first female director ever to win oscar.

Though, in the past 39 years, there have only been 5 women to win more than one Oscar in a leading role. And with the exception of Hilary Swank, all of them had been in worthy roles before that. Don't get me wrong, I'd love for Sandy to take on an extra challenging role--one that would be so good that it would shock me, and make me believe that no other actress could have pulled it off.

I was so happy for Sandy and she really deserves to win.

I'm yet to see the film 'The Blind Side' as it hasn't been released in the UK just yet (and they wonder why there is so much piracy in the film industry...).

But I thought Sandy's speech was the best of the night.

My only upset with the Oscars this year was missing out Farrah Fawcett from the memorium reel. They manage to put MJ in with his ONE film The Wiz, which was dreadful and missed Farrah who actually was an actress?!

I know people will say she was more TV then Film but she made several films (about 14 I think)...not all great but more than MJ ever made and the Oscars excuse for not including her was pathetic. They should have shortened that pointless and overly long dance routine to fit both Farrah and Bea Arthur into the reel...

    Any way Sandra ROCKED!!
