Just remember that the snow will be just a memory shortly as we ride our cycles on a sunny afternoon. Snow now just makes us more appreciative of those warm days coming.

I am hearing in Roanoke that we will get between 6 and 12 inches, but Northern Virginia on TV this morning they were saying two feet. You got us beat this time Tom, and I am just glad we were able to get the Martina show in last week in Fairfax.

What do you know about early Spring, Becks?
Anything earlier than June is probably "early" in your neck of the woods.

Here, early would be April 1.

I love snow. We only have about 4 feet this winter, so if we get our normal 100 inches, it is going to be s snowy couple months. The bitter cold is starting to suck

I'm with everyone here. I seriously don't want to spend my four day weekend shoveling snow. I'm not really a winter person. I miss my flip-flops and tank tops

It did snow today in Kansas where I am, but I must say it was one of the most beautiful snows I have ever seen. The temps were around 37 so it was warm. They were big flakes, and a lot of them. They melted on the ground (will probably be icy) but it was just gorgeous. A friend said it was like being inside a snowglobe with the snow falling around you.

We had freezing rain today while I was still at work - thankfully it stopped by the time I left to go home. We had ice last weekend and are supposed to get more this weeend and into Monday-Tuesday. I don't mind the snow but I cannot stand the ice. With snow I can at least get out and about... can't do that with ice.

You folks down south are getting hammered with the snow and ice this year. Not normal for you I know. We have our usual amount of snow but it has been freezing. I am okay if it's in the mid 30's but that's all I can handle. We had some of those big pretty flakes yesterday, only ours stuck to the snow we already had. LOL
Jim (hubby) would like to be riding his cycle to, but this weekend is the motorcycle swap meet this weekend. At least he will get out to see others with cabin fever..

Stay warm y'all. And take care when driving in that mess your getting. I hope it stays south. We get enough from Lake Ontario and the occasional Nor'easter.

I ride a little on a warm sunny day. No big trips, just local. Did not get my cycle license until age of 65.
