Will Wilkinson, who is pro legal abortion and probably the libertarian with whom I agree least often, gets it exactly right, observing that there is more than a little gangsterism in the response from the PP set:

You know, I’m not a big fan of Komen’s brandification of breast cancer, I dislike seeing pink ribbons plastered over everything, and I think Planned Parenthood is real swell, abortions and all. So I’m not especially inclined to come to Komen’s aid. But I’ll be damned if this doesn’t look a bit like PP throwing it’s weight around, knocking a few pieces of china off the shelves, sending a message to its other donors: “Nice foundation you got there. Wouldn’t want anything to, you know, happen to it.”

Let me start by requesting that no one spit nails at me. I think that the Susan G. Komen foundation has several issues to be concerned with, regardless of the topic that Billy started.

I hesitate about posting my opinion here due to my strong concerns about not wanting one donation to be hesitated upon with breast cancer. However, I do have objections with several of their practices, namely the high amount of money in donations that is taken in administrative costs.

Nuff said, y'all know how to research.

............................I respect human life in all its forms--I think that's something my generation is finally willing to let the world do: love everyone, especially the little guy who will never have the chance to defend himself on this forum behind a computer screen.

I just love my own life so much, I would never want to deprive anyone of these same joys :) Love's the only house...
