Cancer Hits One of Our Own
I hate cancer with a passion...especially when it strikes a friend or family member. Unfortunately, it has stricken someone in our Martina family here in the fanclub. While I have promised to the keep the name anonymous, I am posting this to rally the many prayers and support that is needed.
Here is what I know: a small but malignant tumor was discovered this summer. It was removed this past week. Further test results concluded that the cancerous cells have spread to the lymph nodes. There is talk of chemotherapy / radiation, but no decisions have been solidified as of yet.
The release of "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" could not have come at a better time. Please find time during your busy day to send warm thoughts, prayers, or well-wishes to our dear friend.
