In Fairmont, WV, husband's office building swayed. Here in Morgantown, WV, our older son said the ceiling was shaking at work. His GF was at a class at WVU and said her desk was shaking.

Best story was from my younger son. At his grade school, the teacher's desk started shaking and she initially blamed a student. Then, all the desks in the classroom started shaking--but interestingly, at different times. The fire alarm went off and they evacuated the school. My son said when they were going back inside, the front of of building had a crack. (That worries me a little.)

I was asleep and missed the whole thing.

You slept through it ? Amazing...
Some felt it here but I didn't, long as noome was hurt, that's what counts.

I would be worried about the crack at school, but no doubt will have a building code enforcer check it out

I've heard a lot of reports of desks moving, houses shaking, but thankfully no injuries or major damage.
Some high rise buildings in center city (Philadelphia) were evacuated as well as some of the shopping malls.

I'm south of Columbus and I didn't even know it. I didn't know anything until someone at work said something about it and I told them I was outside at that time.

We felt the quake all the way down here in South Carolina. Def. a first for me... out whole building was shaking pretty good for about 20 seconds or so.

Usually, it's not felt outside. It's most noticeable to people inside fairly large buildings, esp. if they're sitting still.
