Nashville, TN (May 15, 2012) Country Superstar Martina McBride made a Midwest trek over the weekend as part of her One Night theater tour and sold out all three shows. The powerhouse vocalist shared stories, favorite songs and more with packed houses at the Shooting Star Casino (Mahnomen, MN); Surf Ballroom (Clearlake, IA) and Honeywell Center (Wabash, IN).

Wanting to share a special experience with her fans, McBride also took to Twitter for setlist ideas and giveaways, providing yet another way to connect. Just before the Wabash, IN show, McBride helped make a special moment for a mother and daughter, gifting them tickets to the concert.

McBride is not only helping create memories for the audience, but is experiencing them herself. I love performing in places with history where you can almost hear musicians from the past. Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and The Big Bopper played their last show at The Surf Ballroom where we were on Saturday so I wanted to perform the Buddy Holly classic, "That'll Be The Day," said McBride. The show was over two hours long and earned her two encores.

Throughout most of the summer, she will engage with fans during the One Night tour, but on May 27, McBride will head to Indianapolis, IN to sing the national anthem at the 96^th Indianapolis 500. A couple of weeks later, on June 10, she will headline the CMA Music Festivals LP Field show in Nashville. INDIANAPOLIS, Wednesday, May 9, 2012 GRAMMY winning Country Superstar Martina McBride will sing the national anthem during pre-race ceremonies at the 96th Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 27 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

A Kansas native, McBride is known for having one of the most spectacular voices in any genre of music. She is a four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and has sold more than 18 million albums, producing six #1 hit singles. I have loved Martina since I saw her open for Garth in 1992. I bought her tape " The Time Has Come" and warped it over the following year from playing it daily! I have seen Martina in 4 states for a total of 18 concerts and have great memories - from "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" live, to the debut of "In My Daughters Eyes", to each time she sings my favorite song "Broken Wing". I was able to be at her album release party for Eleven and am so thankful that she values her fans!!

NASHVILLE - The Nightly Concerts at LP Field during CMA Music Festival are the best way to enjoy performances from today's hottest Country Music artists at an unbeatable price, creating an outstanding value for fans and families wanting to enjoy a great night of entertainment during Nashville's signature music event. 2012 CMA Music Festival takes place Thursday through Sunday, June 7-10, in downtown Nashville. The event will once again be filmed for an ABC television special to air in late summer.

Beginning Saturday, April 14, at 11:00 AM/ET (10:00 AM/CT), tickets to the individual Nightly Concerts will go on sale for $40 (plus applicable handling fees) for general admission in the upper deck of LP Field. Hayes released his debut album for Atlantic Records, Hunter Hayes, in 2011. He wrote or co-wrote all 12 songs and performed every instrument on the album, which features his Top 15-hit "Storm Warning" and his latest single "Wanted."

McBride has won five CMA Awards, including four wins as Female Vocalist (1999, 2002-2004) and one win for Music Video of the Year (1994 for "Independence Day"). She is tied with Reba McEntire for the most wins in the CMA Female Vocalist category. The Academy of Country Music and dick clark productions announced today that country music superstars Luke Bryan, Sara Evans, Tim McGraw and Jennifer Nettles have been added to the all-star lineup of artists scheduled to perform at the ACM PRESENTS: Lionel Richie and Friends - In Concert taping Monday, April 2, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The special will air Friday, April 13, 2012 on the CBS Television Network.

ACM Presents: Lionel Richie and Friends - In Concert is a special concert event of country music collaborations with the legendary Lionel Richie, featuring duets from his upcoming album Tuskegee, out March 26, 2012, along with solo performances. Some of Richies greatest hits will be performed by todays hottest country artists including Jason Aldean (Say You Say Me), The Band Perry (Penny Lover), Luke Bryan (Running with the Night), Sara Evans, Lady Antebellum (), Martina McBride (), Jennifer Nettles () and Rascal Flatts (Dancing on the Ceiling). Duets with Richie include: My Love withKenny Chesney, Sail On with Tim McGraw, with Kenny Rogers, and more surprises to be announced.

Hi! I'm Teresa, but everyone calls me Tee. My daughter gave me the nickname Musclequeen when she was little and made some funny videos of me working out. She is now 16 - and the videos still exist somewhere in cybersphere!! I have been a fan of Martina's for a very long time. I love interacting with other fans here on the forum (and in person). My name is Chad, and I am from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I have been a middle school teacher for seven years, and I am currently working towards a degree in educational administration. I enjoy movies, music, concerts, and spending time with family and friends. I have seen Martina in concert several times, most recently this past Friday night (and she rocked -- as always)! I have been fortunate enough to meet Martina on two separate occasions, once at a concert and once at her fan club party in Nashville. I am a Martina fan because of her remarkable voice; her talent is absolutely amazing. Its quite hard to select one favorite Martina song, as she has so many that are moving and powerful. However, my very first favorite was Whatever You Say. When I saw her perform this song on the ACM Awards in 1999 (thirteen years ago), I became an instant, life-long fan!

Congratulations Gena!

I was born and raised in Ohio and remember many Saturday evenings, listening to the Grand Ole Opry on the radio with my parents, and thus began my love of country music. I grew up and was blessed to marry the love of my life, who was a former Nashville studio musician and we now live in Arlington. VA. I work as an Operations Manager for a large Federal Government IT Contractor and spend my spare time hunting for Shabby Chic treasures at flea markets, and hanging out with family. Martinas Greatest Hits is my all-time favorite CD, and my favorite Martina song is which I had the pleasure of performing at a company sponsored talent show in 2009. I have seen Martina in concert three times and have met her twice; January 2010 in VA, and again this year, when I won an invitation to the Martina Fan Club Party in Nashville. My sweet husband and I drove 12 hours from Virginia just so I could attend the party. It was also exciting to see other Fan Club Members, and make many new friends! Getting a sneak preview of her new CD was AWESOME!!!

(Oct. 17, 2011) The Grand Ole Opry, joining Women Rock For The Cure in the fight against breast cancer this Sat., Oct. 22 with its third annual Opry Goes Pink show, is getting some help from one of Americas favorite morning news program personalities. ABCs Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts, herself a breast cancer survivor, will be on hand as a special guest announcer for a portion of the nights first show, introducing acts as well as the Women Rock For The Cure Honorary Survivor of the Year Yolanda Smith. Opry member Martina McBride will take the stage to flip the switch, turning the Oprys signature barn backdrop pink in support of breast cancer awareness. MINNEAPOLIS-- Pink Together, General Mills national campaign dedicated to raising awareness of, and helping those touched by, breast cancer, will join country music superstar Martina McBride this month on her ELEVEN Across America Powered by Amtrak cross-country train tour. Riding the Pink Together Express, supported by General Mills, McBride will travel to 11 cities and treat fans to intimate performances at three of the stops. McBride releases her 11th studio album entitled on October 11, 2011, on Republic Nashville.

The four-day train tour will launch in Los Angeles in early October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and culminate in New York City with a special lighting ceremony and private concert at the world-famous Empire State Building.

Pink Together will contribute $1,000 to each of the local Susan G. Komen Affiliates along the tour, for a total of $11,000. My name is Jenn and Im from Pittsburgh, PA. Im a senior in college studying special, early childhood, and elementary education. Cancer sucks. That's a tattoo I noticed on someone's arm in Martina McBride's new video for her song "I'm Gonna Love You Through It," and it could not be more true. It does suck. But thankfully, this video celebrates what doesn't suck about cancer: the love. There's been a lot of press about how the video features some famous cancer survivors, which initially made me think, "Who cares? Regular people get cancer, too." Then I watched it. And realized this video isn't about fame. In fact, those celebs (Robin Roberts, Hoda Kotb, Sheryl Crow and Katie Couric) are just like the other survivors talking about the day they were diagnosed and what it was like to have so much love come pouring in right after they got that call. You probably know someone who got that call. One of my best friends got it in 2000, when her four kids were all under 9 years old, and she needed girlfriends to love her through it because her family was out of town and her husband had to work. It feels like McBride is singing this song for us. The ones who brought her dinners, drove her to chemo, shopped for her kids' school supplies, helped them study for religion tests, cleaned her house, did her nails and read her The Victoria's Secret Catalog Never Stops Coming when she was too weak to even hold the book. It's just like McBride sings: "When you're weak, I'll be strong/When you let go, I'll hold on." And like Crow says in the beginning of the video, "When you're diagnosed with cancer, everybody around you is diagnosed, as well." I hope those supportive friends and families know that this song is for them. If you know someone who has loved someone through it, you can download the song for them on Friday (Aug. 19).

Bank brings McBride, Ingram to Henderson

As many as 20,000 people are expected in Henderson, KY for a free concert this fall featuring country music stars Martina McBride and Jack Ingram, presented by Independence Bank.

The Sounds of Independence concert will take place 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the new building the bank is constructing at Center and Green streets.

The concert stage will be situated in front of the building, and Green Street will be closed from Washington to Second streets at 2 p.m. to allow for festival seating.

Jim Davis, the banks Henderson County president, said the concert would be an historic celebration that will be long-remembered here. A fireworks show will follow the concert.

Customers of Independence Bank will be provided a fenced-in VIP area on the bank property. Special event ID cards will be required for admittance to that area. Bank customers can have their event cards made at any Independence Bank location beginning today.

McBride is a four-time Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year, with six No. 1 hits and 18 million albums sold.

Her newest CD, is scheduled to be released Oct. 11 and will include what Independence Bank President and CEO Chris Reid said is expected to be her legacy song.

McBride presented a similar concert in 2004 when Independence Bank opened its headquarters building on Frederica Street in Owensboro.

Texas-born Ingram has scored one No. 1 hit with Wherever You Are in 2005.

Construction continues on Independence Banks three-story building, which is inspired by Philadelphias Independence Hall and features a 100-foot-tall clock tower.

The building is scheduled to open for business Monday, Oct. 11.

Hello my name is Sabine or Bine as my friends call me. I am from Germany and am a big Martina McBride Fan! My hobbies include music, travelling, and hanging out with family and friends. After having lived in the UK and the US for several years I enjoy going back to visit both. I love my little nieces and nephews all of which are under the age of 5. I also love taking pictures, both of the places that I travel to and of concerts that I attend. My favorite Martina songs are , Independence Day, This Ones for the Girls and Over the Rainbow I saw Martina perform this year at the Opry and also at LP field, which were amazing experiences. Then actually meeting Martina at the FC Party and at the YW auction were dreams come true. I hope to be able to make it to CMA Fest again next year.

I am extremely disappointed. First of all, I love spending my birthday with all of you. There is no better birthday parties than the ones I have with you. Richie Forced to Cancel With Strained Vocal Cords

Country music superstar Martina McBride will now perform in place of previously-announced Lionel Richie as the featured musical guest on the BOSTON POPS FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR, an entertainment special to be broadcast live from the Charles River Esplanade in Boston, Monday, July 4 (10:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. As previously announced, Emmy Award-winning actor and Boston-area native Michael Chiklis ("The Shield") will host the special.

Richie, who has been completing his upcoming album as well as performing back-to-back concerts, is suffering from strained vocal cords and is unable to perform. "I am extremely disappointed to cancel my performance with the Boston Pops but must follow my doctor's orders," said Lionel Richie. "It was such an honor being asked to celebrate the Fourth of July with this legendary orchestra and I hope to perform with them in the future."

We will miss Lionel and hope he recovers quickly and completely, said Jack Sussman, Executive Vice President, Specials, Music and Live Events for CBS Entertainment. Having a superstar like Martina step in at the last minute is a dream come true. She is one of the greatest voices of this or any generation, and she is now my hero.

McBride will perform some of her biggest hits with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra under the direction of conductor Keith Lockhart.

Record breaking year, proceeds exceed $150,000 to benefit the
YWCA Weaver Domestic Violence Shelter

Nashville, TN (June 14, 2011) YWCA Celebrity Auction with Martina McBride brought in over $153,000 on Sunday, a 50% increase over last year. Martina McBride, who has hosted the charity auction since 1995, brought the highest bid of the day, pulling in $27,000 for the black dress that she wore to perform at the re-opening of the Opry (after the flood.) The dress was purchased by a fan from Texas. "I am always amazed at the big hearts of country music fans. Even in these tough economic times, they realize there is a need to help these women and children who have taken the first step toward getting out of a bad situation and are starting their life over. Their compassion and generosity inspires me," said Martina after the auction.

It is Martinas genuine support and the devotion of her fans that help make the auction so successful each year, noted Pat Shea, CEO of the YWCA. Yesterday, she not only raised these dollars, but helped educate the audience about domestic violence as she encouraged their support, noted Shea. It is so amazing to me that Martina and her fans helped us raise over $150,000 in a few hours, Shea continued. Those dollars will help the YWCA serve women and children who need counseling, medical care, support and emergency shelter as they flee violent homes. We are very grateful to Martina, concluded Shea.

Other big ticket items at the auction included $1,500 for the 80s outfit (with leopard print leggings, grey boots and earrings) that Martina wore in the Teenage Daughter music video, $2,500 for the top hat Big Kenny wore as he participated as a guest auctioneer in yesterdays event. Also $4,000 for a Keith Urban guitar, $10,000 for a Garth Brooks autographed Takamine acoustic guitar, and $16,000 for a Martina hosted tour of Blackbird, the studio owned by John McBride.

We were honored to have Storme Warren of GAC to emcee the auction again this year, noted Shea. He is an excellent host who makes the auction entertaining and fun for all, she continued. Billy Greenwood of WSIX emceed with Big Kenny as auctioneer for part of the morning.

My name is Sarah Ann, and I'm from Sharon (The Friendly City), PA. I am so EXCITED to be Martina's "May Fan of the Month!" I have been a fan of Martina's music for more than 11 years, but I didn't attend my first concert until May 11th, 2007. I was blown away, hearing her live, and I've tried to see her as many times as possible since! Just last year I saw her in PA (where I met her for the first time), IL, CA, and WV! My most recent show was last month in TN, for the CMT Invitation Only taping! That was so much FUN to be a part of, and I was glad to finally have the chance to meet Tracy! I'm hoping to make the trip back down to Nashville in June, to see Martina again and meet more fans! I consider attending concerts to be my number one hobby! I am a die hard Pittsburgh (Sixburgh) STEELERS fan! I was in attendance at both the 2009 and 2011 AFC Championship Games, where Martina sang the National Anthem...AWESOME! It's impossible for me to choose just one of Martina's songs as my favorite...I find bits and pieces of myself in far too many of them! But its the autobiographical content of McBrides new single off her upcoming Republic Nashville debut album release that has her girls front and center.

McBrides Teenage Daughters (co-written by McBride and The Warren Brothers) has a universal theme of children coming of age and parents trying to survive their offsprings transformation into adulthood while reflecting back to their own lost adolescence. While every adult has experienced these tumultuous teenage years either from the teenagers perspective, parents or both this topic, told from both a mom and dads perspective, is a surprisingly unique and fresh angle for country music.

There are a lot of country songs about having baby daughtersalmost always sung by a tender daddy, writes Chris Willman in a recent Yahoo! Music blog. And there are a fair share of country tunes about seeing your adult daughter leave home or get marriedagain, usually performed by a guy in touch with his sensitive side. But the difficult, in-between years that can drive a parent to drink? Those don't get written about.

Almost everybody goes through it, says McBride. So Im not surprised when people tell me how much they relate to this songeven the dads who were Prince Charming in their little girls world until she discovered boys. They all get it. This is every day life and its why I love country music It touches us right at the heart of what we are feeling or dealing with on a daily basis.

The inspiration for the song came naturally. "The Warrens and I were catching up on our lives before we started writing. I was telling them how interesting it is to have a teenager and how it goes from you being the center of their universe, to their life being more about their friends and gaining independence, says McBride. The little girl who thought you were so cool and always wanted to hold your hand or would dance with you in the kitchen, suddenly is a little embarrassed by those things. It's just inevitable as they grow up. It's their job to become more independent and our job to walk the balance between keeping them close and letting them go a little at a time. No matter how much you think you are prepared for it, it still takes you by surprise.

Another thing about the song that is relatable, McBride continues, is the fact that we used to be the ones breaking the rules and taking risks while our teenagers can't even imagine us that way. It's hard to reconcile the image we have of ourselves as wild and crazy, fun people with their image of us as just "Mom and Dad". It's not until they get older that they realize how much we have been through and how much wisdom we have to offer. And how fun we really are! " McBride says with a laugh.

She adds, "I love the fact that Teenage Daughters blends humor, sass and sweetness. It shows a very real side of my personality that I'm not sure I've shown in a song before. It's definitely a very personal song and, to me, it just feels like an honest conversation between mothers and fathers of teenage daughters everywhere.

"Teenage Daughters" is Martina's best song in years! It's hip and modern, just like Martina herself!" says Johnny Chiang, Program Director of Houstons KKBQ-FM.

As for the McBrides teenage daughters, they agree and relate to the single as well. "John and I are very fortunate in that we have a great, close relationship with both Delaney and Emma as teenagers. We have an affectionate, sweet relationship based on honesty and respect, assures McBride. But we both recognize there is a big difference in the way our 5 year old views us and the way our 16 year old views us! The good news is, Delaney and her friends relate to the song as well...and they approve!"

McBride has co-written seven more tracks for her new album (due out this fall). After 18 million album sales, the CD will be a first in many ways - first on a new label, first working with her co-producer Byron Gallimore (Faith Hill, Tim McGraw) and first to have written the majority of the material herself.

I finally made the time to write more and it's made this album so much more personal, acknowledges McBride. I won't sing a song unless I can tell the story or relate to the lyric and I don't believe you have to write the lyric to relate to it. But this album shows so many sides of my personality and the fact that I wrote most of it will make it interesting and fun for my fans.

I am a 45 year old mom/teacher/writer/wife, married for 22 years and live in Newtown PA. I have two sons ages 20 and 15. I have been a Martina Fan forever and have had the gift of meeting her and John a few times already at concerts and fan club events. I am not teaching at the moment but I take care of my mom and family and am working with my editor on getting my book published. I also love to sing. I've never sung professionally but always at my church and coffee houses in my younger days. A few years ago I won the chance to go to a fan club event and record at Blackbird Studios! I will never forget the incredible time I had meeting Tracy and the Martina team at the event. We were placed in small groups, had a fabulous lunch and gathering where we were able to meet other selected Martina Fans and then we were taken to Blackbird Studios. John McBride was the most patient and kindest host. As I'm approaching the chorus of "This One's For The Girls" I feel someone else watching and smiling through the glass and when I looked up, I saw Martina's beautiful smile. Hi! I am Steve from New Hampshire. I'm 54 years old and love country music, my family and the USA. Like everyone else in the fan club, Martina is my favorite artist and I am absolutely her biggest fan! I work as a Technical Support Engineer and am partly to blame when your internet is slow or doesn't work right :-) My wife Elaine (with me in the photo) is also a big Martina fan and we try to go to every country concert in the New England area. We have 5 children, 2 rescued dogs and a cat.

I was able to meet Martina once in 2006 at a show here in New Hampshire. My favorite Martina song is "Safe in the Arms of Love" and my dream is for Martina & John to come to my house in NH for some great BBQ!

My name is Dave and I live in Devore, California. I've been a big Martina fan since the early 90's. I'm married with 2 boys and enjoy doing anything with my family - going to concerts, camping etc. My favorite Martina song is "Ride" - I like the energy in it. I alsolove "Anyway" - our home burned down in a California wildfire, and the words got me through rough times after we lost it. Our home is rebuilt now. I've had the chance to meet Martina 3 times, I got choked up all 3 times and could hardly talk! If I get a chance again, im going to talk choked up or not! I think Martina is an awesome singer and a great role model. Her songs are all so inspiring. Of all the country singers, Martina's songs are the ones I can listen to over and over and over! I have to say Tracymakes the Martina Fan Club great! I feel like we're one big family! My name is Kim, but most of you know me as Curlygirl!I amSO excited to be December's Fan of the Month!Not only is it an awesome Christmas surprise, but my birthday is this month, too! What a great gift! I live in the PIttsburgh area with my husband and two little girls, who happen to love singingMartina songs, too! I've always loved listening to music, but I have to say, that I never really listened to music until Martina's songs started playing on my radio. Her songs have opened my eyes to how lyrics can truly move a person. A few of my all-time favorites are "Anyway," "Concrete Angel," and "In My Daughter's Eyes." They allhave made me cry! I think Martina is THEBEST artist in the music industry today, but is overlooked too often. So, as a proud member of Team McBride, I get to help spread the word to the world about Martina and her amazing, God-given voice! Darius Rucker, British singer-songwriter Adele, Amos Lee, Maroon 5 and Aerosmith's Joe Perry have been confirmed as performers at the CMT Artists of the Year special airing Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. ET on CMT. The 90-minute special will honor Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and the Zac Brown Band as the top artists of the year based on retail sales, radio airplay, concert grosses and activity on CMT.com. Luke Bryan, Martina McBride, Kid Rock, Randy Travis, Alabama's Randy Owen and Paramore's Hayley Williams will serve as presenters during the 90-minute special hosted by Academy Award winner Kevin Costner.

I have been a Martina fan for 13 years now and recently got to go to my first official fanclub party in June 2010! It was an amazing time for all of us who got to attend,and I am thankful for all the awesome people i have been able to meet through Martina concertsand the message board!
My favorite thing to do istravel and go toMartina concerts,I have been to9 shows now and have been blessed to meet Martina 3 times. My favorite song is "Swingin Doors" but have so many more.
